4. Kingdom Hearts
Genres: Action RPG.
Personal rating: 9.5/10.
-------------------------------
"Kingdom Hearts begins on Destiny Islands, where Sora, Riku, and Kairi live. The three friends want to leave the islands to explore new worlds and have prepared a raft for this purpose. One night, the islands are attacked by shadow creatures—the Heartless. Sora seeks out his friends, finding Riku, who disappears into a dark portal. At the same time, Sora obtains the Keyblade, a weapon effective against the Heartless. However, the islands are destroyed and Sora drifts into space. Meanwhile, King Mickey has left his own world to deal with the increasing numbers of Heartless and left instructions for Donald and Goofy to find the "key" that will protect the worlds from the encroaching darkness."

You guessed it, which Final Fantasy fan could possibly have missed the chance to play this masterpiece game? I remember that when I first heard of it during the time it was still under development, I had my doubts. I mean, I always loved Disney (still do!), and if I haven't made it clear yet, I LOVE Final Fantasy as well but.. A merge of the two put together into a game? It just screamed out "failure".
But I was wrong, very wrong! Kingdom Hearts is amongst one of the most emotional games to me, I can't quite put my finger on it but it just gets to me - and I actually shed a tear now and then during the story (Yeah, I'm a big softie.. Don't tell anyone ~_~) - definately a game that's very worthwhile.
