23 Jul 2009 I'm wondering what is the best location, and best way, to mount an aftermarket bipod on a Mini-14? I'd just as soon not have to remove the gas block.
Question from a newbie so once I attach the Harris #14 Bipod adapter, I can mount any type of Bi-pod to my Mini-14? Just want to clarify. Also, what length bipod do most of you use? 6"-9"? 9"-13"? I just installed a Harris HBRS 6 9 in bipod on my Mini 14 using the HB14 instructions adapter I installed as recommended in the Harris instructions, but I end up. 3 Mar 2017 How "Not" to Mount a Harris Bi-Pod Adapter So the right way of doing it is read the instructions that comes with the mount, and it clearly illustrates how it is suppose to look. BTW, I used to always mount the Harris bipod "Backwards", legs under the forearm (only on the Mini 14, not any other platforms).
