Works great! I have shot about 4000k rounds through my old original spring. It became a lot looser, and the polymer guide rod was already starting to get wobbly when you take it out and put pressure on it. I was getting malfunctions shooting my go to Home defense rounds, and 165gr reloads at about the 3500 round mark

31 Jul 2013 I got a chance to shoot my brand new PPQ M2 .40 yesterday. I'd fild strip it after about fifty rounds and check the internals. I thought my recoil slide spring guide rod was broken. But then I saw that it was plastic. Does anybody make a metal guide rod for the PPQ M2? Thanks, Rob P.S. This pistol is awesome.
22 Jan 2015 P99/PPQ/PPQ M2 Sta-Tite guide rods are available as drop-in assemblies with factory springs direct from Germany. The PPQ and PPQ M2 share the same recoil assembly with the P99. .40SW and 9mm use the same spring. P99 Sta-Tite Guide Rod. P99 assortment. Remove plastic, replace with metal.
27 Mar 2012 So I am in the process of getting my pistol permit. I was seriously considering the Walther PPQ. Only issue is someone on here mentioned the guide/recoil rod has plastic in it. That its durability only lasts about 5000 rounds. Is this still true and if so is a replacement steel rod available. If so how much?
