Clicking new image

Whenever someones uploaded a new picture whenever i click it from my "Friends" list. The image shows that its loading but the page is not pure white but somewhat translucent like its still loading something on the page. I can comment etc but the image is very pale.
I have to click their link at the bottom of the page to refresh it to show properly. This just started happening yesterday.
