if I shoot video in Manual mode for pictures I can activate auto ISO. Does this work for movies aswell? It seems the movie will be very bright. Not sure what settings are being used. If I shoot in creative video mode and aperture priority and auto ISO, can I control how the camera changes shutter speed and

What settings are you using? I have a feeling you haven't learned about ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. If you are in manual mode, you need to manually control these using the two dials on the camera.
