To set a smaller radius, remove the disk and manually move the nozzle to point toward the center of the watering area. Replace the disk with the gray side facing up, and adjust the collars so the sprinkler will stop at the desired location as it rotates back and forth. The radius can be adjusted in 5-degree increments.
