Liam was a cuddle bug, and if you had to chose a perfect date, staying home and cuddling with your loveable stud-muffin was definitely your favorite. It wasn’t even the fact that he was all cuddly and sweet, it was the fact that you could be yourselves and not have to worry about Beacon Hills latest problem. It was these moments that made your time with your boyfriend the most memorable, because for once, he payed attention to you, showered you in kisses, and he always made it his priority to treat you like the queen that you were. It was these moments that reminded you why you fell in love in the first place. He was sweet and caring, cuddly and warm, and a really great pillow. It also reminded you of all the dates you had, good and bad, and it made you smile.
It was date night, and you were majorly stressed about your upcoming test, so much you barely payed attention to your cuddly boyfriend. He was constantly getting close to you, nuzzling his face in your neck, peppering kisses along your jaw. You didn’t mind it, you actually loved the attention, but you were supposed to be studying, and this did not look like studying. “Liam, stop." You said after a while, pushing him away when his mouth found your neck again.
He whined, looking at you with those blue eyes. You resisted the urge to kiss him, looking back down at your textbook with a patient sigh. You could tell he was pouting, but you ignored him as you continued to read up on nuclear chemistry. You turned the page, getting ready to finish your paragraph when Liam whispered something in your ear. “Are you a camera? Because every time I look at you, I smile." You laughed, turning to look at your grinning boyfriend.
“Nothing you say is going to make me stop studying. Now stop." You chuckled, turning back to your text book with a triumphant smile. You heard Liam groaning behind you, and you shook your head, trying to block him out again. You did good for a while, even clearing two more pages when Liam snuggled up against you, breathing in your ear.
“Can I borrow a kiss? I promise I’ll give it back." He whispered again, pressing a soft kiss to your neck. You shuddered, feeling his nose pressing against your soft skin. He was really starting to annoy you, but you just kept your eyes focused on your book, trying to ignore the tingling kisses against your neck. “If kisses were snowflakes, I’d send you a blizzard." He tried again, peppering kisses up to your jaw. You squeezed the book tightly in your fingers, shutting your eyes when he placed a wet kiss on your soft spot. “I must be a snowflake, because I’ve fallen for you."
You slammed your book shut, tossing it to the floor before turning to look at Liam with a soft smile. You threw yourself on him, pressing your lips against his softly as you pushed him back on your bed. You hovered over him, running your hands over his chest with a soft kiss to his lips. “Do you want to stop teasing me?" You asked, running your lips down to his neck.
“Are you going to cuddle with me?" He replied back, wrapping his arms around your waist. You shook your head and rolled your eyes. He smiled up at you, running his hands up your back as his mouth came to crash against yours. You kissed back eagerly, tugging at his hair when he started getting a little too rough. “We can always do something else, if you want." He whispered, kissing down the top of your shirt.
You shook your head, laying your head down on his chest. “No, you said you wanted to cuddle. So we’re going to cuddle." Liam chuckled, pulling you closer as his fingers began to move through your hair. You smiled, pressing kisses to his neck as you traced meaningless patterns into his sides. “I love you." You whispered, turning your head up to look at him. You could see the sentiment in his eyes as he pulled your lips up to meet his, tilting his head to kiss you better. You kissed back, your heart fluttering in your chest. You had kissed loads of times, but this was the first kiss that made you beg for more. You pressed closer to him, begging for his heat and affection, which he eagerly gave to you. He put a hand to your cheek as he pulled away, brushing the pad of his thumb benevolently over your cheek.
“I don’t love you." He started, leaning forward to press his forehead against yours. “I’m in love with you. I’m so in love with you, it’s hard to fathom. I fall asleep to the thought of you, I breathe you, I crave you. Oh, I so don’t love you. No, I’m in love with you." He whispered, kissing your lips again.
“There’s a difference?" You asked, puckering your lips with a curious look.
He nodded, pulling you tighter against him. “Anyone can say I love you, it’s meaningless. You could say ‘I love you’ to a dog but ‘I’m in love with you’ is so different. It’s a deeper level. You can only say it when you are absolutely sure your love is so deep for someone." You nodded, unable to look away from his sparkling eyes. They drew you in, and you stared, looking for any chance that he could be lying, and when you couldn’t find any, you smiled with tears in your eyes. “I’m so in love with you, and I’m more than sure I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You are the one for me." He whispered, drying your eyes before you could start crying. “I’d scour the planet for you, and I’d travel for years just to find you. You’re my one and only, my ride or die, my anchor. You make my life so much better, and I can gladly say, I’m so happy you chose me."
You blushed out of reaction, giggling before pulling back. “If that’s how you really feel, then I guess I can say I’m in love in with you too." You whispered, nuzzling his cheek with your nose. “To the moon and back. To infinity and beyond. Til death do us apart." Liam chuckled and kissed your nose.
“Don’t you think we’re a little too young to be proposing to each other?"
You smacked his chest with a pout. “You just ruined that very cute and intimate moment." He chuckled again and kissed you more passionately, glad you had chosen him.
