![[NEWS] ‘I Love You’ Lands at #1 on Billboard’s K-pop Hot100 Chart

Just under a year ago in August 2011 Billboard opened their K-pop Hot 100 Chart to track popular songs in Korea. It is based on digital sales via leading websites as well as downloads from mobile service sites using an industry-standard formula and the most credible music data sources within South Korea.
The top 10 of the K-pop Hot 100 according to data from July 5th to the 11th has been revealed and 2NE1‘s new single ‘I Love You‘ came in at #1. It beat out last week’s number one, Sistar‘s ‘Lovin U‘ and T-ara‘s ‘Day by Day‘.
The full Top 100 for this week will be released later today so look out for an update with Billboard’s weekly article at that time. The article will also inform us if 2NE1′s new song appeared on any other Billboard charts.
Congratulations to our girls and I’m sure that this #1 will only be the first of many to come during this promotional period!
