These memories' ve been haunting me
until this very day
but now at last I' ve found the door
to my final getaway
The small white pills they feel so good,
as the rope does in my hand.
standing, trembling, on a chair
just a step from my dreamland.
I take the final sips of gin,
swallowing pills, one by one.
I wish my short and useless life
never had begun.
My heart beats heavy, my mind is clear
there is no fear, no hope
at last my broken soul is free
but my body's tied down by a rope
until this very day
