I have a MacBook Pro from 2008 with Leopard, and I am hoping against all hope that it will never crash. Because if it does, I will have to buy a new one with Lion, and then I won't be able to use one of my most frequently used applications, AppleWorks Painting, any more. I've used it almost every day for years, and am so well-experienced with it that I don't need any expensive picture editing programs. And not only that, but I would also have to manually convert literally hundreds of AW documents to Pages or Word for Mac. My mum is an even worse position, with her eight-year-old PowerBook G4 and thousands of AW documents.
Please please please, would you create a Rosetta Stone for Lion? I know many people both in real life and on the internet who would be so very grateful to be able to use their beloved Power PC applications in future. If you won't integrate it in the OS out of the box, then please sell it in iTunes for download!
Sincerely,
Alma Tiwe
