Last night I dreamt about you,
Everything felt so true,
But I woke up without you.
Now all I feel is blue.
You and me by the river side,
Holding me close as you can.
I tell you that Im always yours,
And you say you understand.
You look up at that blue sky,
And then you look at me.
You whisper softly "love you",
And I say "I love you to".
That dream was all I wanted,
Only your hand in mine.
Our lips so close together,
Now all I want is to cry.
If god gave me one wish,
To make a dream come true.
I would look into your eyes,
And wish to be with you.
