When the last noodle in the cup had been eaten, Kisame got on his feet and threw the used cup in the trash bin. Eru still sat down and looked kind ‘a puzzled. She turned herself to the window, looking out to the blue, yet cloudy sky. She mumbled some things for herself before she turned to him again.
“ey Hoshigaki?" she said. He turned his attention to her once again.
“There´s no fun being inside such nice day... What about going outside for a couple of hours?" she said and shook her head towards the window. Kisame shrugged and said:
“You´re the one deciding that, not me." Although, that was true. She gave him a kind look.
“If you don’t want to, you don’t need to." She said, and Kisame started thinking.
‘Maybe?’ he thought. ‘I haven’t been outside in real for four days now… ah… why not?’
“sure. “ he said shortly. Only a couple of seconds later, an ANBU with a mask which looked like a Wolf landed outside the window, and Eru got up and opened it for him.
“Moving out?" he asked, and Eru nodded.
“We will be going soon; can you just wait for ten minutes?" She said, and the ANBU nodded, and disappeared, although only temporary.
“I´ll just get ready" she said. “You?" Kisame shook his head.
“Nah, I´ll just wait for you..." he said. “But don’t take too long" She stuck out her tongue and walked toward her room.
[Seven minutes later]
“God damn it!" Kisame muttered. “Why the hell are you taking so long?" He sighted, just as Eru walked into the living room once again. She had an annoyed look on her face.
“You could have taken less ti…" he interrupted himself, his eyes widened ´till max. She was now dressed in black shorts, which didn´t reach down to her knees. Dark red linen with the print of what looked like an undead dog is what she had on her upper body. She wore a belt with her ninja stuff in, such as Shurikens and Kunai´s. She had a pair of dark blue ninja shoes on her feet.
“You don’t have to stare…" she said, and the annoyed face was replaced by a really confused one. Kisame snapped out of it, and got on his feet.
“If you don’t dress like a tramp, maybe I wouldn’t stare" he said annoyingly and walked up to the window.
“A tramp?" she said. “Pfft, it´s more like you would stop being in lalala-land every time I change clothes"
“What the hell is Lalala-land?" Kisame said and looked over his shoulder as she walked up to him and opened the window. The same ANBU as before appeared and Eru jumped out of the window.
“Lalala-land is where you just where" she said and grinned. He sighted and jumped after her.
“Why couldn´t we just use the door?" Kisame said as they rushed ahead of the forest behind the house.
“Because this is more fun" she answered. Kisame thought he´d never get a better answer than that, so he decided to not ask more questions. Inside the wood they got deeper and deeper in, and Kisame started to wonder where they were going. And so it got on for five minutes, until they stopped in the middle of the forest. They landed smoothly and he looked around is confusion.
“What now?" he said a bit puzzled.
“You can go now" she said, ignored his question, instead talking to the ANBU guy. He nodded and disappeared once again.
“Now… Come with me, will ya?" she said and set off walking towards a certain spot in the forest. Kisame shrouded and walked after her. When they´ve walked for only a minute, Eru stopped and separated two branches, reviling a meadow which bathed in sunlight. It was full of red flowers he´d never seen before, and he let his gaze flow over all the beauty what existed in nature.
“Do you know why I took you here?" she said with an unusual low tone.
“No… I don’t." he said and walked over to her, who stood in the middle of the field.
“This is Konoha´s most attended spot." She said and something in her gaze… disappeared. It just became empty.
“Are you alright..?" he said, he cared a lot about her, not that he´d ever admit it. She didn´t change a single expression.
“Do you know why there is so many flowers here?" she asked shortly. He shook his head.
“For every flower on this meadow, Is the death of a ninja from Konoha this year." She said. Kisames mind just stood still. It was surely over two thousand flowers on this meadow. Each one represented a dead ninja? He´d never been a person who cared much for others, but this was just sad.
“Can you imagine how many of those people who died by the hands of Akatsuki?" she said. He just couldn´t understand why, but it hurt. It hurt really badly. She walked away to a certain spot on the field, and stopped there. Kisame slowly walked over to her, but when he got up beside her, His heart felt like it had been hit by an arrow. She was crying, tears flowed down her cheeks as she stared down at the ground.
“Somewhere here is the flower which represents my sister…" she said, but her voice broke in the middle, she just couldn´t talk about it. Kisame bit his lip, he wanted to make her happy again, but if he touched her, she´d probably just kill him. He watched her as she tried to wipe away the tears with her right arm, but it just didn´t help. He couldn´t take it anymore. He added his arms around her, pushing her body close to his. First she just looked surprised, and then she got angry… but soon did the tears overwhelm her and also she added her arms around him.
“Why did I even take you here…" she mumbled. “I always gets to emotional up here…"
“Don’t cry anymore" he said quietly. She looked at him with sad but confused eyes.
“It´s not your style…" Kisame said. She bit her lip and buried her nose in the fabric of his shirt again.
“Thank you Kisame…" she whispered. Kisame smiled, she actually said his name.
