Yo-ho 'ts a pirate's life for me!

She got on her feet and walked over to a ladder that led down to the ground. A few seconds later, her feet hit the ground and she found herself in a dark alleyway. Another two seconds later, she was out on the open street, walking down to her usual spot she'd proclaimed as her "stage". Her "stage" was a sewer lid between a fruit stand and a bar called "The golden bull", but she were fine with it. As long as people heard her voice and gave her money for it, she couldn't care less about what she stood on. She made a small jump up on the lid, and took off the cap she wore on her head, and placed it on the ground. But before she could begin to sing, she noticed a cloaked figure in the corner of her eye. Somehow, this mystical figure drew unusually much of her attention. As the figure came closer, she noticed a lot of those cloaked fellows catching up behind the first one. Only a few meters away from her, they've gone from only one to at least ten. Maybe she just didn't notice them before, or they've lurked out of the alleyways. Just as she caught herself staring, one of them headed into the golden bull, and the rest of them followed. As the last one disappeared into the bar, Eru tilted her head to the side, wondering what the heck was going on. There was a parade or something that she'd missed or what?
'What am I doing...?' she thought. 'Money doesn't earn itself!' She cleaned her throat, trying to shake the thoughts out of her head but failed miserably. There was SOMETHING about these fellows.... something that she couldn't point out, but knew it was there! She gave up on trying to earn anything for the moment, and sighted. She jumped down from her little stage and picked up the cap from the ground, dusted it off, and put it back onher head as she snuck in on the backside of the bar. She wondered how she found this little trick anyway, as she started to climb up a pipe that would take her to the roof of the bar. Once she was up, Eru removed a few brick tiles and a loose plank in the roof, and jumped down the hole that she'd made. Just as her feet hit the dust-covered wooden planks, she remembered that she used to steal food from this bar when she were new in town, but that was a long time ago. That's also probably why she still knew the way down there. With a few careful steps, she snuck over to a couple of forgotten wine barrels and rolled one of them over to the corner. Underneath it revealed a small hole itself, probably not bigger than a beli. She flopped down on the floor, dust flying elsewhere as she laid on her stomach, peeking down the hole hoping to see the cloaked figures she saw a few minutes earlier. Lucky for her, the cloaked people sat at a table very close from her. Eru moved slightly to the side to get a better view. Now she could see the "leader" sitting right in front of her. At least she assumed it was the leader, because he, or she, was the one who walked first in line when she saw them on the street. That, and it looked like it had a rather large hat underneath the cloak. From this distance, Eru could at least determinate that the figure infront of her was a man, and somehow, she wanted to see more of him. Who is he? Why does he have a cloak on? Is he a criminal? One of the other cloaked men leaned closer to him and it looked like they begun a rather serious conversation, but they were whispering, so Eru couldn't hear what they were talking about. Until "the boss" suddenly let out a loud growl;
"THAT STRAWHAT BASTARD! I'LL FLASHILY KILL HIM!" The little jump he managed to achieve made the hood of the cloak tofall back, revealing his face. Eru cut her breath of with a sharp gasp-
'What the hell is wrong with his nose?!' she though, as the man really had a large, round nose which was had a strange, red shade. Just like a clown's nose, that made her giggle slightly. She also noticed that his face was covered in face-paint. Bones crossing each other on his forehead and red lipstick covering his mouth.
'He.... really IS a clown?' she thought and a huge grin spread across her face. Eru continued to explore his appearance, until one of his still-cloaked friends spoke in a low manner, just so she could hear it;
"Captain Buggy, please put on the cap again!" he said. "We doesn't want to get caught!" She thought she heard him mutter in return and putting the cap back on again. But right before his face was all covered in veiled shadow, he looked up. Probably to stretch, but their eyes met maybe for only a second. Before he could react, Eru quickly pushed herself away from the hole and placed the barrel on top of it again. Her heartbeat picked up speed and lowered itself again.
"That was close...." she panted, and felt a sudden warmth. Or rather, the blush were burning on her face.
"W-wha-?"
