It is said that a strange creature have lived in the Old Forest for centuries, none have seen it but they all fear it.
Some say it is a man-eater, some that it has magical powers, other that it is a cast-out demon of the Ancient Gods.
The Elders say that it will hunt you down ad kill you if you venture to far out in the Old Forest. All who have dared have never returned.
The Elders say that when it has finally hunted you down it will first play with you, then slowly kill you and when you are dead it will desecrate your body beyond human understanding.
Thus impeding you from a place amog the Gods. Instead you are doomed to wander the Old Forest with your dead jaws forever pinned open in a soundless wailing shriek.
Because of this the Elders have said -for our own good- that you should never go outside the village borders.
They say that beyond the Old Forest there is nothing but a dead wasteland and unending dispair...
