Sometimes,
people leave.
And there's nothing we can do to change that.
And you have to come to terms with that there are some people,
that you are never ever going to meet again.
No matter how much they touched your life,
no matter how much you touched theirs;
no matter how hard we ever try,
and no matter how much we love the way it is,
sometimes you just can't change the way things are.
But sometimes...
You can.
Sometimes you just need to know you can.
Sometimes you just need to try.
Make an effort,
be part of something, and not simply exist;
but change.
Because what worth does realizing you're alive have,
when you don't use your existence to change the world,
so that it remembers you when you are gone?
So that somebody knows that you did something great,
even if that somebody is yourself.
Change something.
Control your own life.
Never let society, social norms, anyone, or anything for that matter control you,
because then you've already lost.
Love life, and don't hate it when it's difficult,
but rather look it straight in the eye and yell,
"oh yeah motherfucker? well FUCK YOU. FUCK, YOU."
I can honestly say that I understand now.
Life ISN'T about personal relationships. Scratch that, it actually is.
but it is ALSO about new experiences, new relationships and not getting stuck in a rut.
Always changing, always evolving in some way, always improving.
What the fuck is the point of getting to know someone if they're just going to leave you?
The one thing in life that never will truly leave you is your past,
the things you've done, the feelings you've felt and made others feel.
The only thing you have in life is yourself,
so you should probably get around to loving you.
If you don't like who you are, change!
Because you're stuck with yourself for a damn long time,
so you might as well get around to knowing yourself, and loving yourself,
especially if it's love you want;
because how the hell can you expect someone to love and understand you,
if you can't even understand yourself?
