Beer

Okay. I admit it, I love beer. I think it's one great beverage! Love the taste and how well it goes with foods and so. It's just plain awesome.
But does that make me a bad person? I believe in God, I'm a Christian, and some people actually thinks that because of that, I should not drink! Not even look at a beer bottle. Then I have to go repent for my sins or sumthing silly like that. Come ON! Where does it say in the Bible that a Christian can not like beer? NO WHERE. But it does say that you should not let anything take control of you. Like having a need for sumthing, like drugs, smoking or so. Or like giving in to alcohol so much that you lose control of yourself. And that I don't like. I hate getting drunk. I've been drunk, I wont deny that. And it really wasn't that great. And if you are drinking just to become drunk, you're better off not drinking at all.  
And, what's the thing when you think that you need alcohol just to be able to be more "outwards" and social and whatever.? Like, really? That's just sad. If you can't be "yourself" without alcohol, I think you have deeper issues that needs to be taken care of. 

What I wanna say I guess is, beer is great. Like, drink it with your steak or baby back ribs or to quench your thirst, sure thing! I'm cool with that. But, don't be abusing it! Don't see it as sum kinda way to get drunk, to have fun. That's another thing! if you can't have fun without alcohol, you got sum deeper issues too. GO SEEK HELP. I hate that society has shoved that stupid myth up everyones face and that they are actually taking it! Swallowing it and accepting it!! It's sick! 
It is sad when a person needs something else to feel comfortable in their skin or to have "real" fun.

That is not what beer was made for. Good God, I mean, really. All you guys drinking because of any of the reasons that I have mentioned are totally abusing the beverage!! That's not cool! 

Another thing! People who don't drink bad mouthing people who drink is so not cool either. I mean, if I like beer, are you not gonna like me just cuz you don't like the beverage? Just because you think that drinking is a bad thing? If you can only gaze upon alcohol as a way to get wasted, you are practically as bad as a person who actually drinks alcohol to get wasted. Really. It's a twisted view of what alcohol is for, and you both are sharing it! So none of you is a better person, I'm sorry to say. But that's the way I see it.

Anyways, I love beer. I am of age to drink it and I don't drink to get drunk or of sum self-confirming issue or make me feel better or be able to be me! I have none of those problems, and I definitely know how to have fun without alcohol. Drinking beer every now and then does not make me a bad person either.
And if you don't agree with me, shove it. Or let me know, could be interesting to hear your opinions too.
