I'm seriously considering this guys...the sound quality on my iPod Classic 120gb is quite horrible no matter what I do with the equalizer or which headphones I use, I've tried my new apple in-ear, my sony v700dj's, and a lot of other headphones! Just to makematters worse it's sluggishly slow and even though I in this short time have had it replaced for a BRAND NEW one two times, it's still not operating as I expected it would.
The bottom line is that I'm seriously thinking about telling apple to go F themselves and ask for my money back, like come on guys, what else can I do when iTunes erases my library when it feels like it, the ipod lags, it sounds awful...etc.
I'm thinking about buying a Zune 120 to replace this awful piece of hardware, but since I live in europe I won't have much support for it software-wise and if I buy a mac I'd probable have none at all...it's still tempting though...
over and out
