11.03.2007 - the ones who never yawn the last post was 5.17.07… that’s definitely my bad... maybe my laptop fell into the river one day while I was drifting in my wood boat under the sun catching up on some reading… and yes, I should’ve gotten it replaced or went to the community library to write you from there. maybe that didn’t happen but I know for a fact that I haven’t had an update in over 5 months. a lot has happened since I last wrote… we spent some time in the Nevada Mountains, which was a really great experience for us. you might have seen some pictures. If not, find them, we look pretty funny. we were also in California doing some demos for the record, which was a good time for us because it was the first time we actually got to here what the songs we were writing sounded like. now it is November, we are 6 tracks into recording our new album, and I couldn’t be more excited. I came home to Chicago for the weekend for my moms surprise party (happy birthday Mom Walker) and now I am getting on an airplane and going to finish this record with the boys. I do apologize for disappearing for so long, we have been putting all of our time and focus into writing for this album. we have not and will never forget about all of you who make this band what it is. be back soon. - jon with a beard
