Squeak:)! Final note on book prices today, just to address the concerns of those who are justifiably curious: Reason for price raise is that the first edition was disastrously under-priced (learned that the hard way), and, additionally, the cost of printing and shipping went WAY up, which is entirely out of my control. Do keep in mind that there are always alternatives, including not purchasing the book at all (fine by me), or paying upwards of $500 for a copy on eBay being sold by people who buy up multiple copies to sell to you for just this purpose (now THAT is an unreasonable price, I’d say;)! Back to programming some murderous drum beats…think battle cry, call to arms, any number of other violent things…fun fun fun…
@Eris_Lapine I very much appreciate you noticing that, Cupcakes:)…additionally, between albums, producing massive novels, creating visual art, touring for months at a time, launching tea companies, making movies (you’ll see;), working to create a new album that is truly epic and symphonic and not just something with 8 songs on it to sing along to in your car, and, god-forbid, THINKING, takes a bit of time, and who says there is some pre-determined schedule we are supposed to adhere to anyway? That is something that confounds me daily…album schedules have absolutely nothing to do with anything but radio play, marketing campaigns, keeping sponsors and labels happy, and making as money money as possible as quickly as possible, none of which are a massive priority of mine, obviously….I can’t express enough how much I appreciate those who do understand this, and, even if they don’t, can at least refrain from judging it and needing to post that judgment publicly.
(Can't wait for the video and the album 8D Want now! ^^ The new album by Within Temptation has by the way been released!)
