The monster
Now if loving was a word
Then a mind would be a thing
No, money isn’t everything
And things are not worth a life
No. Happiness is not to be bought
And neither is love, for it is to be brought
Love is all around us
But finding it is tough
Yet we all have it in us,
Just like everyone we know
Just like everyone that cares
Just like everyone we have
And yet we know it
But we just don't care
We sit here alone.
In our personal despair
Thinking what if
Thinking, this is not right
Thinking we should do more
Now if thoughts are all that matters
Then what difference does it make
Should we sit here, comfortably in our homes
Watching as enemies are dropping bombs
And money are donated in tons
I am thinking of a dying world.
Killing itself, slowly in it’s own wealth
We live in a growing hell
Yet some say we are evolving
But let me tell you one thing
We are still as primitive as ever.
The only evolving we do is growing colder
And here I sit, alone, growing older
I feel that changing this is priority
But my fellow thinkers are a minority
And still the people of the money is a majority
And these verses you have stumbled upon
Is all about the thinking done
And what I have tried to say is simple
That it’s what we do that matters
But it’s what we think that makes us who we are
And what we are is just everything
...
That really matters
Then a mind would be a thing
No, money isn’t everything
And things are not worth a life
No. Happiness is not to be bought
And neither is love, for it is to be brought
Love is all around us
But finding it is tough
Yet we all have it in us,

Just like everyone that cares
