You know your swedish when..
... you get nervous over unorganized waiting lines.
... you avoid leaving your apartment until the hall, stairway and elevator is empty, so you don't have to speak with your neighbors.
... when hearing ABBA abroad, you want to stand up and declare "I'm Swedish!"
... you feel the need to point out that not EVERYONE in Sweden is blonde, and then add the fact that most people are not.
... you always announce when you're going to the toilet.
... you know the exact meaning of the word "lagom". (There is no English word for this, but it means "not too much, not too little," and yes we know exactly how much.)
... you think the greeting "how are you?" needs to be answered with an honest and thorough explanation of your mental health. Therefore, you don't understand why non-Swedes give you a one word answer.
... you have a special tool (called "osthyvel") for slicing cheese. And if you make the cheese look like a ski slope with that tool, it's a mortal offence.
... no matter where in the world you are, you always bring an extra sweater when you go out, because it might get chilly.
... you love complaining about Sweden when you're home but when you're abroad you constantly say "it's much better in Sweden!"
... you know it's a sin to start eating from the bottom layer of the chocolate box called "Aladdin" before the top layer is empty.
... you take it as a personal insult if someone looks at you on the bus.
... the law of Jante prevents you from bragging or even taking credit for your achievements.
... you think people are too intrusive if they stand closer than five feet from you, even on a crowded train.

den andra stämmer på mig, förutom det där med lägenhet men jag får panik över människor, ibland...

och det där med osthyvel, skid backarna smakar faktiskt inte ost tycker jag asså bara för att vara lite random....
