(Från Dark UFO) I just re watched the season 5 episode where Ben goes to be judged. This part caught my attention. The part where he fell down the hole. As soon as Locke went away, he went to be judged.
Then his daughter appeared.
After she put him in his place, he went back--- and Locke appeared!!!!
Anyone remember any instances where a dead charachter reappeared when Not-Locke was there?
Why do I ask this? BECAUSE JOHN LOCKE IS DEAD.
Therefore, maybe only one dead character could reappear at a time.
Like the monster shapeshifting.
It showed ben his daughter being killed-- so maybe, just maybe--- it had the power to change into that form.
Awesome, eh?
Theory: All dead characters who have appeared after death--- are the smoke monster. And the smoke monster can probably only take the shape of people who it has come into contact with.
I think--- That Not-Locke IS the smoke monster. because Locke died, and we have appearances of dead people all throughout LOST. Only, each time they seem to be getting stronger. Maybe the smoke monster is kind of, charging up or something? For the war?
Charles Widmore: If you don't go back, the wrong side will win
The smoke monster needed LOCKE. And I bet Charles is on his side. I think the smoke monster needed Locke in order to "charge" somehow, and finally take a physical form. Maybe there was a time limit previously. But now, that's gone.
And he's gone and "Killed" Jacob-- through ben, of course.
