System failure
Is there no other way,
Was there nothing more to say?
We find ourselves with the back against the wall
Realizing this time we will fall-
Prey to all those speculating eyes filled with cold
The people who’re doing exactly what they’re told.
No longer able to tell right from wrong
They just keep tagging along
We’re told there’s nothing that can make the system crumble
People keep trying, but on the finishing line they stumble
In a world where money handles the talking
People have no other choice than to obey and keep walking
But there are those who refuses to fall in line
The part of the population who will continue to decline
To all the offers made by the higher ups
In costumes drinking casually from their expensive designer coffee cups
As they keep on spinning the fortuned wheels
They continue to crush the less fortuned ones under their Gucci heels.
But they don’t know that one day they might be the ones crawling in the dirt
They will be forced to look up to they very people they’ve hurt
It’s said it’s the unreligious one who lives in sin
But it is the person afraid of living that has the sinner within
