Momma
They don't make a card, at least not yet;
That expresses the love and example you set.
God gave you beauty, for all to admire;
To look at your face, no one would tire.
Beauty comes from within, as you often say;
You have it there too, and it grows everyday.
God gave you modesty, wisdom and more;
You hold so much love, a mystery to store.
You're a Godly woman, who puts Him first;
Reading the Bible, to quench your thirst.
Next you're a wife, holding sacred the vows;
Setting examples to others, showing them how.
As a Mother, God knew, you'd be the best;
So he gave you several, the ultimate test.
You taught us to love, to be kind and more;
Never to give up, but to look up and soar.
So many times you put yourself last;
Your needs and wants, left in the past.
I thank you for all, the sacrifices you made;
The understanding given, the foundation you laid.
I can't tell you, how much you mean to me;
Without you, I would never be.
