His life is just a wave of shattered expectations and disappointment.
What does he do when he's depressed? When he feels hopeless and miserable?
He isolates himself in a location where no other soul can reach him.
He draws a line around him, around his heart. A line no one is able to enter.
Within this line, he is safe. No one can bother him, except for the shadow in his heart.
The shadow saves him from loneliness, but increases his sadness with condescending talk.
It seems he can't even rely on himself...
