she use to say
"I'll be here for you"
but you weren't there that day
"i don't want to see you cry"
so i put a smile
"i love you. best friends for life"
but i guess it only lasted a while
"things are different now"
so i guess you were right
"we'll stick through this, i promise"
but i guess things don't last right?
"yes, we've been best friends for 9 years"
so i guess they were a waste of time
"alright I'll see you later"
that was our last good-bye, but yeah I'll see you next time.
