![It was stated in an Interview by Jonathan that the band hopes to get in the studio with Ross Robinson in early May and have their ninth studio album finished by late November 2009. Jonathan also stated that he was excited about this album "because its going to be a return to the old us, its going to be a classic heavy Nu Metal, as fans would call it, album. I've already got some song Ideas and a few album titles, but not a whole lot of progress yet,".
As of February 12, 2009 Korn have been selected to play at the Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin. They have also been selected to play at this year's Download Festival as well as the 3rd annual Rock on The Range in Columbus, Ohio.[49]
