A new beginning...

I'm out of the prison now.
I'm free, or at least they say that I am.
It has been two long years within these moldy, cold walls that has by time ripped my body to shreds. I really shouldn't complain. It could have been worse.
If this was the price I had to pay to become free from the ministry and to stop hiding it was worth it.
I didn't only free myself, but I freed my family as well. My son. Whom I can't see for another two weeks due to 'safety'.
Eric, I'm sorry your life didn't start out the best way, but I promise you we'll get a better life together from now on.
Mommy is coming home.

I had a nightmare last night that seemed so incredibly real.
It was a memory.
A memory from six years ago today.
The night I got you shot and almost killed.
My dear brother..
It's a horrible memory, but it somehow has a slight turning point.
Like when you looked up at me, still smiling through all that pain that you were in, constantly telling me;
"Don't worry, silly."
That's one of the few things nowadays that keeps me sane..
