Snake River and Tetons at sunset

Here is a shot of the Grand Tetons at sunset with the Snake River throughout the foreground. This shot is a great example of trusting you instincts. In order to take this photo I had to convince my tour guide to leave me on the side of the road an hours drive from anywhere. The sky was thick with clouds and there was a chance it would not clear out. I took the chance and stayed behind trusting my gut that it would be worth it. This was one of the best decisions ever. Looking at this photo you can almost feel the warmth of spring beating back winter
