Håkan Hellström - He was brilliant of course. If you have that many good popsongs you can't go wrong. BUT: 1. Why is he singing in tune all of a sudden??? Isn't his gimmick the out-of-tune singing? 2. Why does he have to play THAT many new songs (that aren't half as good as the old ones)??

*sigh*
This is the biggest misconception of Håkan, and I really hate when people confuse voice tone with vocal accuracy. Unlike Henrik Berggren, Håkan has never sang awfully out-of-tune on any of the shows I've seen. His vocal techniques have, however, improved over the years. And he's using in-ear monitors now, which makes a difference for the accuracy I guess.
I think he said in one interview that he believes the general out-of-tune conception of him came from some of the first shows at Allsång på Skansen when he was overly excited and had really bad monitors.
And the old songs ain't got nothing on the new ones. :)

Well he there was a clear difference in how he was singing the old songs. Maybe he just changed his technique?

I have no idea about technical terms concerning singing but I know that when I listen to his previous records, at times he sounds like a stranded cat in an empty street at night.

I can't believe he sang in tune, impossible.
