Stefania Romeo, a program manager at Uber, first met Lee Hnetinka, founder of tech company Darkstore, in the Hamptons through mutual friends who inadvertently set them up. “We had an instant connection and started dating almost immediately after," Stefania says. Five years later, the two were in New York for a family weekend when Lee completely surprised Stefania with a proposal on a downtown NYC rooftop. “It was just the two of us overlooking our favorite city," she says. Later on, Lee had arranged for their family and friends to come celebrate with them as well.
