Hah! Yes! In my experience, partaking in anything over a longer period of time is simply to sink into whatever swampy convention is being played out, thinking that your input it significant only because it is coherent with whatever language game is in motion. Wow, that was a long sentence. Well, whenever you feel at home, secure and safe in your language, that's when you know you're sitting on a ticket for lethargic Hell, and your only way off is jumping ship. Wow, that was also a long sentence, and including a slightly incoherent metaphor.
