The Great Barrier Reef is a big coral system, it’s about 3,000 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for 2,600 kilometres. The reef is so big so we can see it from space. The wather is very clear so its very populair for divers. It’s a very good fishing spot. Great Barrier Reef was found by captain cook the 11/6 1770. Its lives a lot of animals in the coral reef, around 40 different birds, 30 different vale, dolphin, and tumbles. Over 1500 fish kinds and 14 snakes kinds. 400 Corals and 500 tongs spices. And at least the dangerous poison magnet Carukia barnesi. Maple leaf The maple leaf is an important national symbol of Canada. They call the leaf “The king of the forest” Maple leaf becomes one national symbol in 1868. And it appears on the flag in 1965. The leaf is not just on the flags, it’s also on the NHL team, Toronto maple leaf. The flag is red on the sides and white in the middle and it has a red maple leaf.
