Christmas in New Zealand (26/11)
Blog post from SoclogNew Zealand’s Christmas traditions is a lot like the British and the Australian except that they dress a Pñhutukawa tree instead of the regual Christmas tree.
Traditional Christmas food is plumpudding and for desert Pavlova witch is a cake with strawberrys and kiwi and lots of wiped cream. And by the table they use Christmas Crackers just like i Brittan.
When it comes to TV, it’s not a strong part of New Zealands tradition.
When it’s Christmas in New Zealand it’s summer so they don’t have a white Christmas. Therefor some people have a second Christmas in July when it’s winter. So they have Christmas two times a year.
Ande since it’s summer, beach parties is a important costum.
