Delusions
Sometimes I lose control
and end up in another dimension
A plastic stage play replaced it all
and it's beyond my comprehension
Interpreting the lyrics in a song
written just for me
don't tell me that I'm wrong
cause I get messages you can't see
Some say they can't read my mind
and that magic isn't real
but I know they're lying or just blind
and jealous of my ability to heal
My world of chaos and delusion
childhood memories that never was
So much inner confusion
and things I keep just because
Snapping back to the cruel reality
is like burning my wings to cinder
Do I loathe or love my insanity
until it turns me into tinder
