Chapter 3 - Abracadabra
This world is such a dull and boring place. Though, sometimes something really
small can make it sparkle.
"Morning sweets." Like a tall, dark and handsome bus driver. I fluffed my bloomers,
swiped my bus card in the reader and replied him with a grin.
"Morning handsome." The right corner of his mouth twitched. He probably hadn't
expected me to have a male voice. I snickered to myself, thanked my lucky star
that the front passenger seat was empty and plopped down in it.
He was really very pretty in that uniform. His chocolaty skin seemed smooth and he
had some slightly effeminate features. His slightly reddish hair accentuated his skin
tone very well. He had on a pair of black bowed glasses too, they framed his brown
eyes nicely. Matching his glasses and his uniform he had bracelets with big blue
and black pearls on both wrists. Yummy.
Tough matching his outfit was not what the bracelets were there for I noticed after
watching him work for a while. They hid scars on both his wrists. Wonder what his
problem was. When I looked at him closely I noticed some well hidden signs of
exhaustion.
I pressed the stop button, already a bus stop after where I should have gotten off.
"Hey, I'm in a magic show tomorrow night, here's a VIP ticket. Wanna come?" He
had stopped at the bus stop and I was waving a ticket in front of his face, He took
it but smirked at me.
"You do know that I don't swing your way right?" He asked with his smirk still in
place, pointing the ticket at me.
"Friends don't have to swing at all." I replied with a smirk of my own.
"See you tomorrow night." He grinned. I picked up my Threads&Spirals bag, we
gave each other a wave and then I walked off the bus.
Sometimes I just feel the need to help, even though it's all high and mighty and I
should just mind my own business. I put my bag over my shoulder and started
walking.
A brisk stride and ten minutes later I reached one of the places where I work
part time.
"Oy, Jo, aren't you coming from the wrong direction?" GL, part timer at the
bakery and a friend of mine proclaimed as we met at the backdoor, both of us
on the way in.
"Yupp, missed my stop." I nodded. He seemed to be wearing an almost
completely new outfit. Several new pastel pink and baby blue hello kitty hair
clips in his purple dyed hair. A baby blue tight my little pony t-shirt. Pastel pink
and white striped arm warmers. White hot pants and a pair of purple pantyhose.
Together with a baby blue and white striped knee sock on his right leg and a
pastel pink spotted white sock on his left leg. He was also decorated several
rings, bracelets, bracelets and belts in different pastel colors. His white platform
shoes I had seen before though. I like.
"Haaa~?" He continued as we entered the door closed it, locked it and then
entered the changing room.
"There was a cute bus driver." I elaborated. As we walked over to our lockers
and started changing into our work clothes.
"Hooooh.....male or female?" He asked.
"Male." I answered and he sighed.
"Too bad, otherwise I would have to start taking that bus. My girlfriend broke up
with me yesterday when I proposed to her." I rolled my eyes at him as he sat
down on the bench, stuck a drama queen pose and then pulled a white shirt
over his head.
"Maybe you should just stop proposing to them after you've been going out
with them for two weeks?" I asked with a pointed look and he pouted.
"Maybe I should just forget about girls and go gay?" He announced as he
removed his shoes. I stopped myself from rolling my eyes again.
"That wouldn't do you any good when you can't even get it up for....." I replied...
"JIPES! JO!" ...and sat down on his lap. With only my pair of bloomers on.
"...guys." I continued.
"Hrm, kids. More working and less horsing around please." Our boss
commented from the changing room doorway.
The rest of the day continued on like all the other dull and boring days of our life
in this world. War in some far away country, natural catastrophe in another.
celebrity scandals that people like to gloat and talk about.
Well, somewhat new was the talk about some very famous singer going missing.
But it wasn't something I particularly cared about as it wasn't something that
really effected my dull and boring existence.
