Chapter 6 -
"Oi, Kimi wa nani o shiteru?" I looked up at Mine from the pile of books and
magazines on the floor. His hair was a mess and he still looked sleepy.
"Ca-vi la-bi?" I answered him with another question, as his didn't really require a
response. I think it's pretty obvious what I had been doing. Now I wanted to visit a
library like the magazines had mentioned so I could read some more.
He raised an eyebrow, scratched his head and then he turned around and stalked into
the kitchen. While he muttered to himself; 'I must be hearing things, now it wants to go to the library.'
Humans are strange creatures, according to the books and magazines he was
now; dissing me, giving me the cold shoulder, ignoring me, belittling my intelligence.
But showing someone your back and not keeping alert in their presence is a sign of
trust. How did the natural instincts of humans become so twisted?
