Här har vi short storyn jag lovade XD
(i NaNoWriMo historien så har de inte träffats i början...vet inte om de ens kommer bli vänner i den XD...men kanske i framtida historier)

The room was silent, almost too silent, but I had gotten used to it. That's why I almost jumped out of my skin when he snorted. I glanced up at him.
He was curled up at the edge of my small bed with his back against my off white wall. Reading my old journals with a sick perverted fascination.
Well, to be fair. I was quite interested too. I put the book I was reading down on the floor and poked his leg with my naked foot. I'm not that fond of socks. They feel restricting and smell bad really fast.
"Hey, Benji, do you sparkle in the sun?" He glanced at me over the top of the blue journal I wrote in first grade.
"What gave you that idea?" His eyebrows raised, but he was still looking at me with disinterest. My journals seemingly more interesting than me.
"Popular culture." I shrugged. I guess he don't sparkle then. Too bad.
"Youngsters these days." He frowned, then returned to my journal.
I reached down and picked up the book I was reading. Vampires and werewolves. Reality is way more boring than fiction. I'll likely never get to do anything as exciting as what transpires in these books.
“Did your parents really drop you off in the forest 50 miles from home when you were in first grade and expected you to walk all the way home on your own?" I looked up at him. He was looking at me again. The lower part of his face hidden by my journal. I shrugged.
“Yeah, so?" He kept watching me. That's nothing. All cubs have to do it in my pack. It took me about 2 days. I stared back. He frowned again and then looked away.
Returning to reading.

Skrev "5-7 km/h = ~1 mil/h" men ska ju vara "5-7 km/h = ~1 mil/2h". Så istället för 8 h så tar det 16 h. (And 3,1 miles = ~5 km so you're right)
