Wyatt was happy that he met Vaughn after he got turned into a horse, he wasn’t so sure what he would have thought if his friend suddenly had turned into a horse. Tilting his head he frowned. Vaughn didn’t want to be a horse so the situation wouldn’t have been exactly the same anyway. "You don’t want to be a horse do you? It’s fine by me if you want to be."
Sitting on Vaughn’s back Wyatt couldn’t really see his expression so he thought that the short silence had longer than it actually had. "I’m used to it by now, but no. I don’t want to be a horse if I had a choice."
Letting out a breath of air Wyatt smiled. He liked the fact that Vaughn was a horse because that meant that he didn’t have to walk, but if he had liked it then Wyatt wouldn’t have anything to train on. Watching the trees they passed Wyatt frowned. He did actually want to see how Vaughn looked as a human too. He never did get to meet his family either. Maybe next time.
Tilting his head Wyatt stared the big expensive looking wagon standing still on the road up ahead. When Vaughn got turned back into a human, would he still be his friend?
Wyatt chewed his lower lip and rubbed his ring as Vaughn slowed down and then almost stopped next to the wagon. If that was the case then Wyatt didn’t want Vaughn to turn back into a human, but if he was a knight and not a lowly farm boy then maybe Vaughn would still be friends with him? "I wonder what’s wrong."
Blinking at Vaughn’s mumbled comment Wyatt actually looked at the wagon. It was standing still. Two horses would have been pulling it but a man was holding up one of the horses hooves and rubbing his own neck.
A wagon door opened and a blonde head stuck out. "Coachman, what seems to be the problem?"
The Coachman put the horses hoof down on the ground, glanced over at Wyatt and then towards the woman sticking her head out. "One of my horses has lost his shoe, milady."
Wyatt couldn’t see her expression from where he was standing but she removed her head and closed the door again. "Ee-rmm, Ex-excuse me, d-do you ne-need he-help?"
The coachman looked over at him and looked at him and Vaughn for a while before he answered. "I guess it would be too much to ask if your horse could help pull the cart so my horse don’t have to strain his hoof?"
Frowning Wyatt stared at the back of Vaughn’s head, Vaughn gave a short nod after a little while. "Okay."
Vaughn walked over to the wagon and the coachman started letting his own horse free from all the leather straps. Wyatt slipped down from Vaughn’s back and they both watched. Then the coachman led Vaughn into position and started strapping him to the wagon. Wyatt frowned and looked at the other horse, who was still also strapped to the wagon but now didn’t have to pull it. Looking down at the horse’s hooves Wyatt wasn’t really sure what a horses shoe was. He hadn’t really seen Vaughn wearing any shoes. "Come a long boy, I’ll help you up. Step over on that thing there."
Wyatt blinked and then did what the man told him and before he knew it he was sitting high up on a seat on the wagon. The coachman lashed a long whip and the horses started moving. In the other direction from where Wyatt and Vaughn had been heading. Wyatt frowned.

Vaughn wasn’t amused. Not that he was in any kind of a hurry or anything, mind you. He was annoyed over having to pull a wagon with other people on it and in it than Wyatt. For some reason he really didn’t mind carrying Wyatt around. He didn’t feel degraded when he did that. He instead felt pleased.
At least this ordeal was over soon. They had stopped at the Von Sterling residence and his sisters friend, Princesses Mirabelle and her attendants, had stepped out of the wagon.
The coachman and Wyatt had jumped down and the coachman was unstrapping them. "I really appreciate this, my boy. How can I repay you for this?"
Vaughn glanced att Wyatt who were blushing deep red. What would he ask for? Money? Food? "U-um...co-could I m-maybe g-get re-reins for m-my ho-horse...a-and a wh-hip?"
Closing his eyes Vaughn for once really missed having hands, because he felt a huge urge to put a hand against his forehead. Well, at least it would be less likely that people would think that he was wild. "Sure, I have an old bridle you can have."
Wyatt followed the coachman to the back of the wagon and Vaughn looked over at his mansion. As soon as Wyatt was finished with the coachman they would leave. He’d feel better then. Not that anyone in his family was a particularly horrid person. He just preferred not being among them. That was one thing he had learned from this ordeal at least. "Here, I’ll show you how to put them on."
The coachman and Wyatt walked up to him. "First we'll measure it like this..."
Vaughn sighed quietly to himself and tuned them out as they put it on him. It felt constricting at first but he figured he would get used to after a while. Like all those horrid clothes he had to wear during his upbringing.
