To all of you who are just like me,
left all alone but not lonely.
Rise within and proudly say,
it's time to boycott this valentines day.
We rely on ourselves because we must,
we now protect our hearts because we can't trust.
Our hearts have been broken or ignored,
and now it's time to strike a new chord.
This one goes to those left behind,
to those who never took the step,
to those of us who are broken-hearted,
by those who wanted to clear their mind,
by those who wanted to keep some rep,
or by those with whom love departed.
