"Gravity is a contributing factor in nearly 73% of all accidents involving falling objects" Dave Barry once said, he is a very wise man. Gravity is the main reason we don't float around in the wonder called space, other reasons may be lack of wings, this often seems like a good thing. But picture yourself in the situation of falling. You accidentally slipped on a banana while you where playing Star Wars in you friends apartment at the top level in a house that is 9 storeys high. You are out of control of your body and feel that you have to make yourself stable by putting your hand against the closest window and lean that way... right there you have made one of the biggest mistakes in your whole life because, you will have to face the hard fact, there is no window. At that time you would probably yell as high as you can, but it is far to late for that and I would just tell you to relax and enjoy the ride. At this time you can feel the strength of gravity and would realise, if you didn't know it from earlier, that we are defiantly not made for flying. Falling is like life and death, when you fall you live and when you crash you, often, die... it is as simple as that. But if we were to take away the power of gravity we wouldn't find ourselves falling. Falling wouldn't exist and crashing would be a forgotten memory and because of that we would in a way be unliving and never dyeing, we would be unbreakable... well at least until we float out in outer space and get severe breathing problems.
