The final and fully rendered version of the Mitsubishi A6M Rei-Sen & the Aichi D3A Kaubaku, also known as the "Zero" and "Val" :)
After watching Pearl Harbor again I decided to draw these two planes, which was used by the Japanese during the second world war.
The drawing is 8435 pixels wide & 5955 pixels high, but reduced in size by 20% in order to allow the upload here.
Made in Photoshop CS5, spent about 24 hours on this piece, 18 hours on the lineart and another 6 hours on the rendering.
