Wolf leaned his head to one side and watched Torak with puzzled Amber eyes.

because i have to avenge Bales Death,
Torak wanted to say. but he didn't know how to say that in the wolf languish, and even if he would be able to he didn't think Wolf would understand. maybe wolves didn't avenge.
