I remember when mom brought you home.
A furry little bundle of joy and charm.
Your little nose and little paws.
Your ran around the house and
you’re were the sweetest thing...still are.
Many years of fun and play went by as you seemed never
to grow old.
You stayed like that little puppy spaniel.
Now you’re old and sick.
And I can see, though I don’t want to believe, you’re pain.
I can see that the spark in your eyes is no more.
I can see you’re hurting only by looking into your
beautiful, dark eyes.
But I don’t want to say goodbye.
Don’t want to tell you the last goodbye and
the last ”be a good boy” because it hurt so bad.
It breaks my heart apart to know that soon you will run off to
the Rainbow Bridge where pain and sickness is no more.
And I will never have you by my side again.
You will be with Frida, she’s waiting you know.
Tell the old gal hello and tell her I still think of her often
and miss her every day.
Tell my dear Kola, I love him.
But most of all, remember that you were always
loved and cherished by me.
You were always my best friend.
You will always be the World’s best little dog.
