A boy, lying on his bed, thinking of whatever his mind passes by, the gray and dull walls are slightly lit up by the almost slumbering, glowing fireplace.
The room is about just as big to fit three and a half of the beds identical to the one placed in the corner that would be your right when standing in the doorway and about two identical on the short side. With his feet resting just a bit over the bed's edge his staring in to a screen, aggressively tapping his fingers on the buttons that covers the lower half of his tiny, 10 inc laptop.
He and the fire a few meters away from him have something similar, when you look at the boy you could just as you see the fire a dazzling glow, this however is not heat. A thought passed through the boys mind; “Why am I not tired? Of course, full moon. This is going to be a long night..” A well-known phenomena; not getting tired during the strong lunar phases, but this individual doesn’t just get alert, but is effected in another, to himself, fascinating way.
His eyes you would see a lot of things but one thing is definite, the mark of enthusiasm, engagement and creativity.
A splendid idea had passed through his mind; “Wouldn’t story-telling blogging be a hell of an idea?”
So he opened Microsoft Office Word and started writing on this piece of document, which hopefully will not be the first time and the last time at once.
After feeding the fireplace he sat up in his favorite position, legs crossed and the back slightly bend over and continued his writing.
- “A story was about to begin” he thought and then another question mark; “Isn’t blogging about narrating? About telling history as it is? Of reality?” The thoughts kept coming; -“Well that’s really boring, so this is what I’ll do, I’ll start blog about my reality and bend it into mine own story, this gives me opportunities to show the world how I would like things to happen!”
The Zelda, Majora’s Mask soundtrack kept going and so did his exceeding brainstorm, but eventually he figured that he had to calm himself down and get some sleep, since there are more important things than listening to Zelda soundtracks and (maybe?) inventing a new way of blogging, like school.
Yeah school is really important since it actually destinies my future, if you fuck up your grades you fuck up your life, that’s it, or at least you do if you have the ambitions of this boy or “soon” to be man youth.
- “Becoming a game designer huh? It will take a lot to get there but I’ll be damned if I don’t.”
So school need PRIORITY, and that’s also something the individual will need to work on indeed. Oh and now, at almost five-hundred words I need to make a note to you all, since this is a blog I do NOT need to follow the rules of literature, if I want to pack in a comment like this I can do that if I want to, which in mine own interest is a major benefit and makes me feel good.
So, if I keep following my plans and this great idea of blogging I maybe could start an interesting blog, or would it be? We’ll find out!
After to much late time the boy returned to the story writing, he was starting to get tired actually, maybe it wasn’t the moon, hopefully not he thought and wrote his last lines; “Priority, yeah, I really need to work on that one!”
