copy my blogg from myspace.com ___________________________________ Well.. now it's done.. the east states have killed ESC. Tonight it died.. I can't say anything else than that. Sweden sent one of their best band and still it ended like a fiasco. And a foilwraped hippiefrog almost won. I can't see the good in that song. Yeah sure, the melodi sticks like glue to your brain but it's not good! I don't think sweden ever gonna win ESC anymore. Yesterday was a pretty good exemple for that. The Ark. Swedens best glamrock band was sent. And ended up in 18th place. The east states have killed ESC, just by voting on their neighbours. Their neighbourvoting will probably continue next year, and the year after that. It doesn't matter which artist we send in the future. Some east state will win just because of it's neighbours. It's a politic contest now. And nothing else. We can't win just because we have to few neighbours. But who cares. They're not voting for us anyway. Just norway and iceland gave us their 12th point. Finland only gave us their 8, and we gave them our 12. I for once agree with Bert Karlsson (the big music king himself), we in west should have our own contest. West vs. East. We're not in the ESC anymore anyway. 90% of the times an east country win. It was one exception. Lordi last year. They were really good! But I think they were the last one who really won it because of the music. Now it's only a "fashion contest".. or something like that. Sweden, Belarum, Finland and Moldavia.. 4 of my favourites, which also was forecast to win didn't even get close winning! I from now on will not follow ESC anymore. Don't care. Next year I bet it stand a pink pig in afro hair and sings about "teeny weeny string bikini" or something... and will win. I'm so disappointed at europe.. STOP voting for your neighbours and clowns from Ucrain and start voting for the song/artist you really WANT to win! Sooooo disappointed..
