First visit to the beach in a long time. No swiming though - I hate the water *shuders* Gives me the creeps

Because I'm terrified of water :s it scares me

How come? Everything that can be lurking in it?

I've been scared of the water for years now. I panic if I have to take a boat and I'm just starting to learn to not panic as I cross bridges...I don't know what it is really.

Yeah, it's not something I use to talk about, so it's no wonder you didn't know. I mean, we've never talked about going swimming or anything like that ^^
I have to close my eyes every time I go to and from the airport when I'm in Sweden since I need to cross the bridge... It's scary as hell and the first time I really did panic and could hardly breathe. So yeah, it can be troublesome sometimes...

Thank you *more or less purr* It can be a bit difficult every now and then...so I try to avoid water as much as I can. But I try to learn to at least take a swim close to the beach every now and then just to get over it.

Well, it's harder than it sounds. Some times I can do it without problem, but some times I just panic and leaves as soon as I can

Levii is afraid of water since he almost drowned a few years ago.. After that he and water aren't friends.
No I can imagine. It's horrible to be scared, and sometimes it can go quite well and sometimes it doesn't work at all.. It depends a little of the state of mind and such..

Oh my. Well, at least he has a valid reason for being scared then. I don't even know why I'm so terrified of water. It just started when I was 17 and has graduately been getting worse over the years. And I have no idea why it happened either.
Exactly. When I'm relaxed it's no problem to be in the shallow waters. But it just needs to be something small happening and I panic again and can't go near it.

Yeah, I guess he does ^^.. He tries to train it away too though. And as we've bith said. Sometimes it goes fine, and sometimes it's full panic.. Hopefully it'll go away in the end~
I wonder what made you develop it though, something must've triggered it, even if you're aware of it or not.

Aww, that's good of him. Then we can try togehter ^^ I hate it when it seems to work and then suddenly there's panic. Those are the worst times. Then it's just better not to go into the water at all...
Yeah, I know that something must have happened. But I have no idea what. I would like to know too. The only think I can think of is that it started to come more and more after we'd been to Cyprus the year I turned 18. But I can't recall that anything happened there except that I was floating around looking at the coralls on the bottom and then when I looked up I was quite far from the beach. I know I paniced then and could hardly swim back to shore cause my body refused to work. And mom said that I was pale when I came back. Though I don't know why I paniced like that...

Mm, it's really horrible when the panic comes. It's very good the times when it goes well though. Then at least Levii feels very proud over himself.

The only time I've really paniced in water was when I got surrounded by "bränn magneter" and didn't have anyway to get out of the water if I didn't wanna get burned, so I had to swim over them and let them burn me.. I paniced a bit and barely got my body to function so I could get up, but somehow I managed. It hurt quite bad to get burned*frowns*

Yay. And I agree with him. You feel really proud when you manages to take a propper swim witout panic. it feels really good.
But I don't think that's what set it off really. But that's the only thing I can really remember about panic and water at the same time...
Oh my. Yeah, I can imagine that being scary. I hate jelly fishes, but I've enver ben stung by one so I can't really imagine the pain. Though I've heard that it's quite bad...I'm sorry for that.

Hmm, well sometimes we just get scared of things without any good explainations.. The human mind is an odd thing..
It really was, and it hurts really bad.. But it didn't last too long ^^ Never happened since though, and I'm happy for that
