Australian police in January 2009 arrested a man believed to be from the Manunda suburb of Cairns for breaking into adult shops and having sex with the blow-up dolls. The perpetrator would apparently break in to the shops, steal the dolls, often the "Jungle Jane" sex doll (pictured), inflate them in an alley and use and abuse them there. Police were on to him when they got surveillance video of him fleeing the scene of one of the crimes. DNA testing has confirmed that authorities they have their man.
