Why people become overweight
I am going to talk about a very topical issue in the society.
In Sweden it is as many as 800 000 people who are overweight and it is not because of´ McDonald’s or another fast food chain. In fact, barely a fraction of people suffering from obesity have not even looked at a fast food chain or similar to, say, a very long time.
So what is the cause?
Obesity is caused physically by an excessive energy intake in relation to how much you need. One kilogram of body fat contains approximately 7000 kcal energy accumulation. By comparison, a typical daily consumption is about 2500 kcal, a bag of crisps contains about 1000 kcal, a typical dinner about 750 kcal. Obesity has a genetic component: some are easy to become obese while others remain thin in spite of very poor eating habits. A person's weight is thus determined by both heredity and environment.
Obesity may also be due to different types of hormonal imbalance.
Between five and ten percent of all women over 40 or 50 years of age is estimated to suffer from PCOS
which is a hormonal condition that involves increased production of the male sex hormone testosterone. A common symptom of PCOS are overweight have a tendency to abdominal obesity.
So how do we handle this problem in society?
All women are aware of their weight and some men too.
You can see how companies make money on diets that are likely still does not work on most.
How to solve the vast majority of this? Well they do liposuction, stomach operations against the tax money! It is in my opinion a cowardly shortcut! If you still can lose weight so DO IT THEN!
And it is clear that there are shortcuts, but I think this is not the right solution.
"If you should get something you can never wait or work for a long time" The quote I have heard many people say in my presence.
So what I think is the right solution for people suffering from obesity?
Well I think there is still hope for you, so you must fight off all the little tiny kg.
Thank you.
