I always knew that the demon blood inside me someday would go haywire. I just didn't really know when.. Maby today was a good day?
I pusched Tetsusiga into Kagomes hands and told her;
"Run!"
"But I can't!" Kagome started to say.
"Just run!" I repeated now a bit irritated over her ignorance.
"I will not leave you!" She didn't budge.
I groweld at her protest and pusched her forward, away from the fight. The beast wolud soon be over us again and by then I neaded her to be out of the way. I felt my inner demon stirr as the beast began to quiver behind us.
"You need to go now! Use Tetsusigas barrier to protect yourself and the others!"
"But..."
"No Kagome!!" I roared scaring her "Run away!!"
"Oh, InuYasha..." I herd her breath out and then she ran. What seemed like seconds later the red beast was up with a murderous roar redy to fight again, healed of its wounds from Tetsusiga. As Kagome carried away Tetsusiga - my only weapon against my inner demon, I started to change. I'd started to feel my inner demon stirring restlessly before when I gave Tetsusiga away. But now it was fully and truly awke. I ripped the red beasts arm off and it roared again, now in pain. As I landed I felt the pain from my own wounds making me fall on my hands and knees still growling feriously. The red beast once again stood up one arm short this time and it actually had the nerve to tease me!
"You die!" it said as it started to advance on me, I groweld and after that my mind whent blank exept for the pure rage that boiled inside me. Youki (demonpower) was now clearly shining from me as I moved in for the kill of this very much foolish beast. One final 'blades of blood' and I staggerd backwards, the fight was not over. Now I had to fight myself, my demon, my darkness within...
I will not die (I will not die)
I will survive
I hoped kagome wasn't too far away as I started to sink down the wall.
"Kagome..."
I will not die, I'll wait here for you
I feel alive, when you're beside me
I wil not die, I'll wait here for you
In my time of dying
"InuYasha!!" I heard her faint call to me before I passed out...
